In 2017, ETD merged with Cotton Tyre Services in South Australia, a business that commenced operations in 1994. Cotton Tyres has been working with ETD to distribute the Cooper and Mickey Thompson brands in SA and NT ever since. ETD is a member of the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA) and has a seat on the 4WD Industry Council.
NTAW Group, of which ETD is a part, is a tyre and wheel wholesaler with subsidiary operating entities in Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. NTAW's origins date back to 1989 when Terry and Susanne Smith started the first NTAW business - Exclusive Tyre Distributors - in Brisbane. ETD New Zealand was established in 2011, and ETD and ETD NZ are the exclusive importers and distributors of Cooper and Mickey Thompson tyres to Australia and New Zealand. These brands are renowned for 4WD and SUV applications, offering safety and peace of mind to drivers for over 25 years.
