In 2012, Workplace Health and Safety updated legislation regarding Blockfill & Temporary Work Platforms, stipulating that walking along the top of concrete block walls or along a single plank (225mm width) while core filling is an unacceptable work activity. To ensure the best service delivery for our clients and to reinforce our commitment to safety, we have taken the innovative step of providing a 450mm wide temporary working platform with our standard blockfill service at no extra cost to our customers. Our concrete pump workers receive regular training in the correct erection & dismantling of the platforms and safe work methods for working from heights.
