At Cootharaba Motel, we pride ourselves on providing private and comfortable accommodation by the shores of Lake Cootharaba, nestled in one of Australia's most beautiful National Parks. Our motel is situated in Boreen Point, on Lake Cootharaba, approximately 20km up the Noosa River from Noosa. Our location offers easy access to one of Australia's most popular sailing and windsurfing locations.
Our Services
We offer a range of accommodation options to suit your needs, including five air-conditioned units, a self-contained two-bedroom beach house, and a relaxing view of the lake from the rear deck. Our units are equipped with TV, fridge, cooking, and bathroom facilities, and most have a covered deck with lake views. The Beach House has two separate bedrooms with queen-size beds and one room also has an extra single bed. It also has a large deck overlooking the main beach in Boreen Point.
Our motel is surrounded by popular activities such as sailing, windsurfing, fishing, canoeing, swimming, and exploring the everglades. Within a short walk, you'll find the prized Apollonian Hotel, which provides fantastic chef-prepared meals and regular live entertainment. On the foreshore, enjoy a great cup of coffee, take-away food, or groceries at the Boreen Point Store. A boat ramp and jetty are located close by for easy access to the Lake.
