What is a Dietitian?
Accredited Practising Dietitians (APDs) are the qualified experts in nutrition. Dietitians apply the art and science of human nutrition to help people understand the relationship between diet and disease. In Australia, all dietitians are also nutritionists. However, nutritionists without a dietetics qualification cannot take on the specialized role of a dietitian. A dietitian can help you make dietary choices to attain and maintain health, and to prevent illness and treat specific conditions.
Our Services
We offer a range of dietetic services, including personalized nutrition advice, chronic disease management, weight loss, and healthy recipes. Our services are designed to help individuals understand the relationship between diet and disease, and to empower them to make informed dietary choices. We specialize in chronic disease and can also help with a wide range of conditions, including weight gain, liver disease, food intolerance, heart disease, hypertension, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, malnutrition, nutritional deficiencies, overweight, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and renal disease.
