Our Story: A Passion for Food and Service

Il Baretto is the brainchild of Daniel Zuccolotto, a seasoned chef with over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Daniel was born in the north of Italy, where he did his apprenticeship and began his culinary career. Since then, he has worked in some of the world's top kitchens, including a 5-star hotel in Venice and Harrold's in the UK.

Daniel moved to Australia in 1999 and began working as a chef in a family restaurant in Melbourne. He quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a Head Chef and working for some of Victoria's largest reception centres and cafes. In 2020, Daniel opened il Baretto in Brisbane, offering great service and quality food to his customers for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
