Poor Experience with Installation
Several reviewers had a poor experience with the installation of their air conditioning systems. Jane Tandianus gave 1 star and wrote that the installers broke their ceiling and the aircon never worked. She had to deal with multiple technicians and was stuck in the middle between Daikin and Apex. Despite finding a leakage, Apex failed to fix it, and the warranty had expired by the time they were addressed. David Clarke also gave 1 star and wrote about two of his three Daikin inverter reverse cycle wall mounted systems failing due to cracked pipes and gas leaks, which he blamed on poor workmanship. However, the warranty did not cover this.
Mixed Reviews with Installation
On the other hand, some reviewers had a better experience with installation. Solenne Birouste gave 5 stars and wrote that she had a positive experience with Apex, with Shane from Apex being able to correctly diagnose the problem and fix it at an incredible price. Tom C. also gave 5 stars and wrote that the installers were clean and tidy and did an excellent job. Disappointment with Follow-up Service
Some reviewers were disappointed with the follow-up service from Apex. Melinda Andersen-King wrote that after years of good service, she had to deal with an unhelpful and obtuse attitude from Apex when her unit started to malfunction. She organized to get the problem part for free from the manufacturer but was unwilling to repair it.
