Welcome to Yande Meannjin Antiques, a specialist dealer in Australian pottery, particularly the Harvey School, ceramics, art glass, and quality small items. Our shop, located at number 13 in the Empire Revival (previously Paddington Antique Centre), 167 Latrobe Terrace, has been established for over 38 years and is home to a wide range of antiques and collectables.

As the owner of Yande Meannjin Antiques, I have over 40 years of trade experience in world ceramics, Australian pottery, glass, silver, and most small fine art collectables. My passion for decorative arts has led me to become a Commonwealth approved valuer for glass, ceramics, Australian pottery, and glass. I am also the editor of the glass sections and a columnist for the Antiques and Collectables for Pleasure and Profit magazine, and have had many articles on art glass and pottery published.

My special interests include Art Glass and Australian Pottery, especially the Harvey School, and I welcome enquiries from those interested in any aspect of antiques and collectables. I am always available to answer any questions or provide information on any items in my area of dealing.

Our Services

At Yande Meannjin Antiques, we offer a variety of services to meet the needs of our customers. Our services include:

• Valuations: As a Commonwealth approved valuer, I provide valuations for glass, ceramics, Australian pottery, and glass. Whether you need a valuation for insurance, probate, or personal reasons, I am here to help.
• Selling on Consignment: If you have antiques or collectables that you would like to sell, we offer selling on consignment services. We will display your items in our shop and handle all aspects of the sale, including pricing, marketing, and transactions.
• Ebay Sales: We sell on eBay under the seller's ID of yande and stax1945. If you are interested in purchasing items from our eBay store, please do not hesitate to contact us.
• Antiques Plus: We are members of Antiques Plus, a group of quality dealers in antiques and collectables. As a member of Antiques Plus, we adhere to their strict code of ethics and are committed to providing our customers with high-quality items and exceptional service.

Our Stock

We always have a large range of antiques and collectable smalls in stock - in fact, over 16 showcases stocked with an ever-changing array of collectable items. Our stock includes:

• Australian Art Pottery & Ceramics: We specialise in Australian pottery, particularly the Harvey School, and have a wide range of ceramics available.
• British Ceramics: We have a variety of British ceramics from the 19th and 20th centuries.
• Furniture: We have a selection of 20th-century furniture available.
• Glass: We have a range of 20th-century glass, including art glass, available.
• Lighting: We have a variety of lighting available, including lamps and chandeliers.
• Oriental Silver & Metalware: We have a selection of oriental silver and metalware available.
• Paintings & Miscellaneous: We have a range of paintings and miscellaneous items available, including silver plate and small fine art collectables.

Our Shop

Our shop is located at 167 Latrobe Terrace, Paddington, and is open from 10-5.00 pm Monday to Saturday, 10-4.00 pm Sundays and Public Holidays. I am usually available on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday from around 11.00 am till 1.00 pm or on other days by appointment. With over 11 large showcases and a high turnover, stock is constantly changing, and the serious decorator or collector realises that a regular visit to our shop is a must.
