Reviews
Positive: Staff were friendly and helpful in some cases, and the pub had a lively atmosphere with live music and pool tables.
Negative: The rooms were not clean, and some reviewers experienced loud noise keeping them awake. Service was also inconsistent, with some reviewers waiting long times for food and drinks.

Cleanliness and Maintenance

Some reviewers were not impressed with the cleanliness and state of the rooms. Emma Hastings mentioned that the rooms could be cleaner, while Natalie Houlding described the room as having stains everywhere, even on the bed sheets. On the other hand, Suzie McDermott praised the friendly and polite staff.

Noise Level

The noise level was a major issue for some reviewers. Selin and Rob Purnell both mentioned loud music keeping them awake, with Selin calling it a "waste of money" and Rob saying he was "regretting his life choices".

Service

While some reviewers had poor experiences with the staff, others found them friendly and helpful. Emma Hastings gave the staff 5/5 stars, while Bussin Holidays mentioned the manager lady as being "pleasant to talk to". However, there were also some negative experiences, such as Based Viking waiting 15 minutes for a food order and Lorrene Bell-Chambers taking 20 minutes for their meal to arrive.

Location

The location of the pub was a mixed bag. Michael McGinley mentioned it being a cheap stopover on his way up north, while Luzie Howarth enjoyed the energetic atmosphere and live bands. However, Louise Howarth also mentioned that the rooms were not fully cleaned before arrival, and Lorrene Bell-Chambers waited 15 minutes just to sign in.
