Founded in 2011, McGrath Irish Dance is a premier Irish dance school in the ACT region, dedicated to promoting Irish dancing to all levels and abilities. With a background in Personal Training, our school focuses on smart training sessions to ensure dancers get the maximum out of each session. Our goal is to drive those dancers willing to head for the top of competition, while maintaining a fun, family culture of hardworking dancers.
At McGrath Irish Dance, we pride ourselves on our inclusive and welcoming environment, where dancers can make new friends in their classes and at competitions. Our experienced instructors, led by Leanne McGrath, are determined to bring out the best in each dancer, understanding their individual capabilities and driving them to their full potential.
With numerous State Solo and Team titles to our name, our dancers have represented McGrath Irish Dance at various prestigious competitions, including the ACT State Championships, Australian Championships, North American Nationals, All Ireland Championships, Great Britain Championships, and the World Championships.
Our Services
At McGrath Irish Dance, we offer a range of services designed to cater to dancers of all ages and skill levels. From our Tiny Tots program for children as young as 2 years old, to our Beginner and Advanced classes for dancers of all ages, we have something for everyone.
Our classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of Irish dance in a fun and supportive environment, while providing opportunities for dancers to challenge themselves and refine their skills. We also offer specialized training sessions and workshops, led by experienced instructors and adjudicators, to help dancers improve their technique and performance.
Competitions and Events
