Moruya PreSchool Kindergarten

Moruya Preschool is a not-for-profit, community-owned centre that has been catering to the needs of children aged 3-6 years since 1969. We are committed to providing high-quality early childhood education and care, while fostering strong relationships with the families of our children and the local community.

Our History and Philosophy

Established in 1969, Moruya Preschool Kindergarten has a rich history of providing a nurturing environment that encourages children to grow, learn, and thrive. Our philosophy is centered around preparing children for life and learning, while maintaining strong relationships with families and the community. We believe in the importance of inclusion, sustainability, collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Our Services

At Moruya Preschool, we offer a range of services designed to provide a comprehensive early childhood education experience. Our services include:

• Five-day-a-week sessions, with flexible hours to accommodate the needs of working families
• A half-day session on Wednesdays, specifically designed for younger children
• A staff of dedicated and experienced educators who work in conjunction with our Management Committee to provide high-quality care and education
• A range of activities and programs designed to promote learning, socialization, and development
• Strong partnerships with local community organizations and services, including health services, libraries, and schools

Our Commitment to Quality

Moruya Preschool operates under the National Quality Framework, which includes the National Law, National Regulation (2011), and National Standard. We are committed to implementing the Child Safe Standards and have been rated as "Meeting" the National Quality Standard in our recent assessment.
