North Lodge Cottages, located in the heart of the picturesque Hunter Valley, spans over 25 acres of beautiful grounds. Surrounded by native bushland and boasting stunning views of the Brokenback Ranges, our self-contained cottages offer the perfect setting for relaxation and rejuvenation. The region is renowned for its boutique wineries and exquisite restaurants, which are only a stone's throw away from our cottages.
Our Cottages
North Lodge Cottages offer two types of accommodation: Highland Cottage and Clan Cottage. The 2-bedroom Highland Cottage can accommodate up to four guests, while the 3-bedroom Clan Cottage can comfortably sleep six guests. Both cottages feature spacious living areas, fully equipped kitchens, and indoor fireplaces, making them ideal for families or groups of friends.
The Highland Cottage offers two queen-size bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, and one includes a two-person hydrotherapy spa. The Clan Cottage features two queen-size bedrooms and a third bedroom with a king-size bed or two single beds, as well as two bathrooms with two-person hydrotherapy spas.
Both cottages have a wrap-around verandah, large living and entertaining areas, reverse cycle air-conditioning, and a shared swimming pool located 100 meters from the cottages. The swimming pool is a great way to unwind and cool off during the warmer months.
Accommodation
The Clan Cottage has a maximum occupancy of seven guests, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Bedroom one has a queen-size bed with an en-suite, bedroom two has a queen-size bed, and bedroom three has a king-size bed or two single beds. A foldaway bed can be requested for an additional guest.
The Highland Cottage has a maximum occupancy of five guests, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both bedrooms have queen-size beds, and one bathroom includes a two-person hydrotherapy spa.
Our tariffs are based on six guests for weekend stays and six guests for midweek stays. Additional adults and children are charged at a per-person rate. Please note that a booking fee of $40 applies to all bookings made.
Longer Stays
We offer customised quotes for longer stays of three nights or more. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Security Deposit
A security deposit of $600 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre-authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24-48 hours before your arrival. Please ensure that the funds are available at this time.

Booking
To book either of our cottages, please visit our website or contact us directly. A 1-night stay may be accepted at the discretion of management within 14 days of the prospective arrival date. A surcharge is applicable on the 1-night stay. Weekend public holidays, Easter, Christmas, and New Year periods require a minimum 3-night stay at the full weekend rate. Concert and special event weekends in the Hunter Valley will have a set minimum night requirement to stay and may attract a surcharge.
The reviews for North Lodge Self-Catering are overwhelmingly positive, with many guests praising the cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality.
