With more than 90 years of combined experience from owners and teaching principals John and Judy Bonning, we are committed to empowering young minds to become confident and capable swimmers.
A Legacy of Excellence
Born from the vision of John and Judy Bonning, Billabong Swim School blossomed from humble beginnings in 2006. Their journey commenced with the acquisition of "The Swim School" in Tweed Heads, followed by the successful management of Killarney Swim Centre in Sydney. This invaluable experience prepared them for their next venture - establishing Billabong Swim School.
Throughout their illustrious careers, John and Judy have received numerous awards and recognitions for their exceptional teaching and coaching skills. Their expertise was further enriched when they took over the Learn to Swim program at Casuarina Rec Club (Movement Casuarina) in 2015, adding a heated indoor teaching pool and outdoor training pool to their arsenal.
