Eltham Recreation Bowling Club

Eltham Bowls Club is a strong, competitive, yet friendly club, with around 140 members. Our club is located on Susan St, near the corner of Bridge St, and features two greens: a tiff dwarf grass green, and a synthetic green, which allows all year round bowling. We offer a range of services and activities for our members and the general public, including barefoot bowls, social bowls, and hall hire.

Our Services

At Eltham Bowls Club, we offer a variety of services to cater to different needs and interests. Our barefoot bowls sessions are open to the general public and any interested groups, providing a fun and relaxed atmosphere for socializing and enjoying the game of bowls. Our social bowls events are a great way to meet new people and make friends, with regular winter social bowls sessions held every Saturday.

We also offer hall hire for private events and functions, complete with a well-stocked bar and an option for barefoot bowls. Our hall is spacious and bright, making it an ideal venue for parties, weddings, and corporate events. Additionally, we host regular concerts and events, such as our Jazz By The Green series, which features local and visiting premier artistes and ensembles.

About Our Club

Our club has a rich history and a strong sense of community. We have a dedicated team of volunteers and life members who have contributed significantly to the club over the years. We also have a number of pennant teams that compete in various competitions, including Saturday pennant, midweek pennant, and night pennant.

We take pride in our synthetic green, which allows us to play bowls all year round, regardless of the weather. We also have a range of facilities and equipment available for our members, including a pro shop and coaching services.
